Parmesan Roasted Kohlrabi

Parmesan Roasted Kohlrabi

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes


+ 4 kohlrabi bulbs, peeled
+ 1 tablespoons olive oil
+ ½ teaspoon kosher salt
+ 2 cloves garlic, minced
+ ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
+ 1 tablespoons parsley, chopped
+ Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  2. Peel kohlrabi and cut into ½ inch wedges
  3. Toss kohlrabi with olive oil and salt to coat
  4. Add mixture in a single layer to a rimmed baking sheet
  5. Bake for 10 minutes
  6. Remove from oven, add garlic and stir
  7. Place back in oven for about 5 to 10 minutes or until kohlrabi is fork tender
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle Parmesan cheese
  9. Place back in oven for about 3 more minutes, or until Parmesan cheese is golden brown
  10. Add parsley, salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately
