Caramelized Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe


+ 1 pound brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
+ 2 tablespoons olive oil
+ ½ teaspoon sea salt
+ ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
+ 1 clove, or 1 teaspoon minced garlic



  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Mix all ingredients, except for garlic, in a plastic resealable bag and shake to evenly coat.
  3. Place trimmed brussels sprouts, halve side down, on a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan
  4. Roast brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes, or until bottom of brussels sprouts are caramelized and dark brown (not black).
  5. Add garlic to pan, stir, and roast for 2 more minutes
  6. Add salt as needed to taste and serve immediately
